Easter

Happy Easter!!
What a wonderful time to reflect on the Ressurection of our Savior Jesus Christ,
and all he has done for us. I'm so grateful for all we have. Here are some pictures of our day
We started the day off by getting up super early to get ready for church. We had to be there early because Chris and I were speaking. (of all days to speak !!!) Thank goodness the kids had to look super cute it helped get my mind off wanting to throw-up.
Ty was so excited to finally wear his new dinosaur tie
Lucy was more excited to see what was in her basket but I was loving the puffy dress. Girls are so much fun
After church and naps we decorated easter cookies (Thanks Grandma Cook!)
Lucy found the easter grass and decided it was fun to throw everywhere. I put it away not to long after all her fun. Happy Easter Again!

Happy St. Patricks Day!!

I remember growing up every St. Patricks day a Leprechaun would always turn our milk green. What do you know he tricked us again. I turn around (wink wink) and our morning pancakes were green. Then, I went to pour Ty's milk in his cup and milk was green too! Ty's eyes got big and he said "Mom he got our milk too!" It is so fun to be the parent! Lucy wasn't sure about the green pancakes. She would keep pushing her plate away until I finally had to force a bite into her mouth, then she thought it was great! It kind of reminded me of Green eggs and Ham. We made this cute leprechaun hat at story time last week and Ty has been so excited to were it today.

Happy St. Patricks Day!!

Grandma Cook and Aunt Robyn

Last week Grandma Cook and Aunt Robyn came for a visit during Chris' vacation. It was so fun to watch the kiddos play, and it was fun to have a couple of shopping buddies for me. I'm pretty sure Chris also enjoyed just having his mom around and have Robyn around to pick on. during the visit I even put them to work and we painted Lucy's room three hours before heading off to the airport (I'm claiming it was Susans idea:)) We had such a fun time and we will always wish for more time but cherish the time we do get. The kiddos are still detoxing from a "Grandma and Robyn" high. Lucy is still wanting to be held all the time and Ty still thinks he is in charge of what we do for the day. It will probably wear off just in time for our trip back to Utah. Thanks for the fun times.

Five years ago

Five years ago changed my life for eternity. I married my best friend in the Salt Lake Temple March 5, 2003. Wow, when I look back on the last five years I never would have imagined it to be as great as it has been and I coulden't imagine it any different now. Chris is my life, and has given me so much including the wonderful gift of motherhood. I am so glad he finally asked me to marry him for eternity. Happy Anniversary Babe!!! I just thought I would take a stroll down memory lane for this special day. Enjoy.
